Just a few months ago, I released my very own Scratchmade Da Vinci pan set filled with the 18 colors that comprise my personal watercolor palette. Although I use my palette every day and absolutely love how it performs for me, I had no idea how well the palette would perform for others. Since the palette’s release, the feedback has been rolling in and I’m ecstatic that so many of you are enjoying the palette and Da Vinci watercolors as much as I do!
Regardless, when I found out that Doodlewash was going to publish a review of my palette, I was a little nervous. The artist who was to write the review, the extremely knowledgeable and detail-oriented Bekki Page, is someone I greatly respect. Though I knew Bekki would do a very thorough job testing my palette and an excellent job writing the review, I also knew that she would be completely honest.
Oh well, if there were problematic issues with my palette, I definitely wanted to know about them. So Da Vinci kindly sent one of my Scratchmade palettes to Bekki, and she set to work.
The Doodlewash review went live this morning, and I’m honored by Bekki’s meticulous evaluation of my Scratchmade Da Vinci pan set. I’m also blown away by her very kind words. I’m tickled that she has enjoyed using the palette, has determined that it performs well, and that she’s even customized the SJ palette to make it her very own.
And the review gets even better! Charlie O’Shields, the extraordinary founder, owner, and artist at Doodlewash, has partnered with Da Vinci Paints to offer a great giveaway. One lucky Doodlewash reader will win their very own Scratchmade Da Vinci pan set! [This giveaway has now ended. Congrats to Beth in VA for winning & much thanks to all who entered.] To read the review and enter the giveaway, head on over to Doodlewash now.
